Spumio Clean non raccoglie i tuoi dati. Non c'è alcun account da creare, non c'è telemetria, non ci sono statistiche d'uso e nessun file analizzato dall'app viene mai caricato da qualche parte. Tutto ciò che l'app legge sul tuo Mac resta sul tuo Mac.

1. Chi tratta i dati

Spumio Clean è sviluppata e distribuita da Benedetto Giordano (sviluppatore indipendente). Per qualsiasi domanda su questa informativa puoi scrivere a assistenza@spumio.com.

2. Cosa l'app legge sul tuo Mac

Per fare il suo lavoro Spumio Clean esamina cartelle di sistema e della tua cartella utente: cache, log, elenco delle applicazioni installate, elementi di avvio, Cestino, spazio occupato sui dischi, file di grandi dimensioni. Questa lettura avviene solo sul tuo computer, mentre l'app è aperta, e serve unicamente a mostrarti l'elenco di ciò che puoi eliminare. Nessuno di questi contenuti viene trasmesso, copiato fuori dal Mac o mostrato a terzi.

3. Cosa l'app salva

L'app conserva in locale due sole cose:

• le tue preferenze (per esempio gli effetti sonori e la lingua), nelle impostazioni dell'applicazione;
• il registro delle attività, cioè l'elenco delle operazioni che hai eseguito, in ~/Library/Application Support/Spumio Clean/registro.json.

Entrambi restano sul tuo Mac e puoi cancellarli quando vuoi (il registro dal modulo "Registro attività", con il pulsante che svuota la cronologia).

4. Connessioni a Internet

L'app funziona anche completamente offline. Si collega a Internet solo per le funzioni che lo richiedono, e queste sono tutte:

• Aggiornamenti app — per dirti se le app che hai installato hanno una versione più recente, l'app interroga il servizio pubblico di ricerca di Apple (itunes.apple.com) inviando l'identificativo delle applicazioni da controllare, scarica l'indice pubblico di Homebrew (formulae.brew.sh) senza inviare nulla sul tuo Mac, e consulta le pagine delle versioni di Mozilla e Google. Non viene mai inviato il tuo nome, il tuo indirizzo email o il contenuto dei tuoi file; il fornitore del servizio contattato vede la richiesta e il tuo indirizzo IP, come accade con qualunque sito.
• Aggiornamenti di Spumio Clean — l'app controlla periodicamente se esiste una nuova versione di sé stessa scaricando un file dal sito dello sviluppatore. Non vengono inviate informazioni di profilazione sul tuo Mac. Il sito conta questi controlli in forma anonima: registra soltanto il giorno, il numero di versione dell'app, il tipo di processore (per esempio Intel o Apple M2) e la versione principale di macOS, senza modello, indirizzo IP o altri dati che identifichino te o il tuo Mac. Ci serve solo per sapere su quanti e quali Mac l'app è in uso.
• Licenza — quando attivi, verifichi o disattivi una licenza, l'app invia a Lemon Squeezy (il rivenditore che gestisce vendite e licenze di Spumio Clean) il codice di licenza e un nome dell'attivazione formato dal modello del Mac e da un codice casuale, mai il nome del computer. La verifica si ripete circa una volta alla settimana. Lemon Squeezy tratta questi dati e quelli dell'acquisto (nome, email, pagamento) secondo la propria informativa sulla privacy. La data d'inizio della prova e la licenza attivata restano salvate nel portachiavi del tuo Mac.
• Link esterni — se scegli tu di aprire la pagina di un produttore, l'App Store o il sito di Spumio Clean, l'indirizzo si apre nel browser o nell'app corrispondente.

5. Cosa non facciamo

Non vendiamo, non cediamo e non condividiamo dati con nessuno, per il semplice motivo che non ne raccogliamo. L'app non usa servizi di analisi, pubblicità o tracciamento di alcun tipo. Il sito conta soltanto, in forma anonima e senza cookie, le visite, i clic sul tasto per scaricare l'app e i controlli degli aggiornamenti (vedi i punti 4 e 8).

6. Permessi di sistema

Per mostrarti risultati completi macOS può chiederti di concedere all'app l'Accesso completo al disco. Il permesso serve solo a leggere le cartelle protette del tuo utente e puoi revocarlo in qualsiasi momento da Impostazioni di Sistema › Privacy e sicurezza. Alcune operazioni di manutenzione richiedono la password di amministratore: viene gestita da macOS e l'app non la vede né la memorizza.

7. I tuoi diritti

L'app non invia alcun dato personale a nostri server, quindi non c'è nulla da richiedere, correggere o cancellare presso di noi. I dati locali descritti al punto 3 sono interamente sotto il tuo controllo. Se ci hai scritto via email (punto 8), puoi chiedere in qualsiasi momento di vedere o cancellare i tuoi messaggi. 8. Sito web ed email di assistenza

Il sito spumio.com è ospitato da Cloudflare, Inc., che per farlo funzionare e proteggerlo da abusi tratta dati tecnici come l'indirizzo IP dei visitatori, secondo la propria informativa sulla privacy. Il sito ricorda nel browser la lingua che scegli e usa Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S, Danimarca) per chiederti il consenso ai cookie e salvare la tua scelta. Contenuti di altri servizi, come i video di YouTube, vengono caricati solo se accetti la categoria di cookie corrispondente. L'elenco aggiornato dei cookie è nella sezione Cookie del sito e puoi cambiare le tue scelte in qualsiasi momento dal link «Preferenze cookie» in fondo alla pagina.

Per sapere quante persone lo visitano, il sito usa Cloudflare Web Analytics, che conta le visite alle pagine senza cookie e senza salvare il tuo indirizzo IP.

Quando premi il tasto per scaricare Spumio Clean, il sito conta il clic in forma anonima: registra soltanto il giorno, quale tasto, la lingua della pagina e il tipo di sito da cui sei arrivato (per esempio Facebook o un motore di ricerca), senza indirizzo IP, cookie o altri dati che ti identifichino. Ci serve solo per sapere quante persone scaricano l'app.

Se scrivi a assistenza@spumio.com, il tuo indirizzo email e il contenuto del messaggio vengono usati solo per risponderti. Il messaggio arriva nella casella di posta iCloud dello sviluppatore (servizio iCloud+ di Apple) e viene conservato lì per il tempo necessario a gestire la richiesta.

9. Modifiche

Se questa informativa cambierà in modo sostanziale, la nuova versione ti verrà mostrata all'avvio dell'app e ti sarà chiesto di accettarla di nuovo.

In short

Spumio Clean doesn't collect your data. There's no account to create, no telemetry, no usage statistics, and no file analyzed by the app is ever uploaded anywhere. Everything the app reads on your Mac stays on your Mac.

1. Who handles the data

Spumio Clean is developed and distributed by Benedetto Giordano (independent developer). For any question about this policy you can write to assistenza@spumio.com.

2. What the app reads on your Mac

To do its job, Spumio Clean examines system folders and your home folder: caches, logs, the list of installed applications, login items, the Trash, disk usage and large files. This happens only on your computer, while the app is open, and serves only to show you what you can delete. None of this content is transmitted, copied off your Mac or shown to third parties.

3. What the app stores

The app keeps only two things locally:

• your preferences (for example sound effects and language), in the app's settings;
• the activity log, i.e. the list of operations you have performed, in ~/Library/Application Support/Spumio Clean/registro.json.

Both stay on your Mac and you can delete them whenever you like (the log from the "Activity Log" module, with the button that clears the history).

4. Internet connections

The app also works completely offline. It connects to the Internet only for the features that need it, and these are all of them:

• App Updates — to tell you whether the apps you have installed have a newer version, the app queries Apple's public search service (itunes.apple.com) by sending the identifiers of the applications to check, downloads Homebrew's public index (formulae.brew.sh) without sending anything about your Mac, and checks Mozilla's and Google's release pages. Your name, email address or the contents of your files are never sent; the provider of the service contacted sees the request and your IP address, as with any website.
• Spumio Clean updates — the app periodically checks whether a new version of itself exists by downloading a file from the developer's website. No profiling information about your Mac is sent. The website counts these checks anonymously: it records only the day, the app's version number, the kind of processor (for example Intel or Apple M2) and the major version of macOS, with no model, IP address or other data that identify you or your Mac. We use it only to know how many and which Macs the app is in use on.
• License — when you activate, check or deactivate a license, the app sends Lemon Squeezy (the reseller that handles Spumio Clean's sales and licenses) the license key and an activation name made of your Mac's model and a random code, never your computer's name. The check is repeated about once a week. Lemon Squeezy processes this data and the purchase data (name, email, payment) under its own privacy policy. The trial start date and the activated license are stored in your Mac's keychain.
• External links — if you choose to open a developer's page, the App Store or the Spumio Clean website, the address opens in your browser or in the corresponding app.

5. What we don't do

We don't sell, transfer or share data with anyone, for the simple reason that we don't collect any. The app uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services of any kind. The website only counts, anonymously and without cookies, page visits, clicks on the button to download the app and update checks (see sections 4 and 8).

6. System permissions

To show you complete results, macOS may ask you to grant the app Full Disk Access. This permission is used only to read your user's protected folders and you can revoke it at any time in System Settings › Privacy & Security. Some maintenance tasks require the administrator password: it is handled by macOS and the app never sees or stores it.

7. Your rights

The app doesn't send any personal data to our servers, so there is nothing to request, correct or delete from us. The local data described in section 3 is entirely under your control. If you have written to us by email (section 8), you can ask at any time to see or delete your messages. For any clarification: assistenza@spumio.com.

8. Website and support email

The spumio.com website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes technical data such as visitors' IP addresses to run it and protect it from abuse, under its own privacy policy. The website remembers the language you choose in your browser and uses Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S, Denmark) to ask for your cookie consent and store your choice. Content from other services, such as YouTube videos, is loaded only if you accept the corresponding cookie category. The up-to-date list of cookies is in the Cookies section of the website, and you can change your choices at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page.

To know how many people visit it, the website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without storing your IP address.

When you press the button to download Spumio Clean, the website counts the click anonymously: it records only the day, which button, the page language and the kind of website you came from (for example Facebook or a search engine), with no IP address, cookies or other data that identify you. We use it only to know how many people download the app.

If you write to assistenza@spumio.com, your email address and the content of your message are used only to reply to you. The message is delivered to the developer's iCloud mailbox (Apple's iCloud+ service) and kept there for as long as needed to handle your request.

9. Changes

If this policy changes substantially, the new version will be shown to you when the app starts and you will be asked to accept it again.

1. Oggetto

Questi termini regolano l'uso di Spumio Clean ("l'app"), un'applicazione per macOS che individua e rimuove file non necessari, disinstalla applicazioni e mostra informazioni sullo stato del sistema. Usando l'app accetti quanto segue. Se non sei d'accordo, non usarla.

2. Licenza d'uso

Ti viene concessa una licenza personale, non esclusiva e non trasferibile per installare e usare l'app sui Mac di tua proprietà o sotto il tuo controllo. Non è consentito rivendere l'app, noleggiarla, distribuirne copie modificate, né tentare di decompilarla o aggirarne eventuali meccanismi di licenza, salvo nei limiti inderogabili previsti dalla legge.

Dal primo avvio puoi provare l'app gratuitamente per 14 giorni con tutte le funzioni. Terminata la prova, le scansioni restano disponibili, mentre la pulizia, la disinstallazione, la manutenzione e l'installazione degli aggiornamenti richiedono una licenza. Ogni licenza vale per il numero di Mac indicato al momento dell'acquisto; puoi disattivarla su un Mac per attivarla su un altro. La licenza viene verificata periodicamente via Internet e resta valida senza connessione fino a 30 giorni dall'ultima verifica.

Versione beta: fino al 31 dicembre 2026 la versione beta è gratuita e tutte le funzioni sono disponibili senza licenza; durante la beta la licenza non si può acquistare. Dopo quella data la beta non esegue più pulizie e occorre installare la versione ufficiale, con cui parte la prova gratuita di 14 giorni descritta sopra.

3. Come funziona la rimozione dei file

L'app non cancella mai nulla da sola: mostra ciò che ha trovato e attende una tua scelta esplicita. Dove possibile gli elementi vengono spostati nel Cestino, così puoi ripristinarli; alcune operazioni, chiaramente indicate prima della conferma (per esempio lo svuotamento del Cestino), sono invece definitive e non reversibili. La selezione e la conferma sono tue: verifica l'elenco prima di procedere.

4. Backup

Prima di eseguire pulizie importanti è tua responsabilità avere un backup aggiornato, per esempio con Time Machine. L'app non sostituisce un backup.

5. Nessuna promessa di risultato

Lo spazio recuperabile dipende dal tuo Mac e da come lo usi: l'app mostra sempre quantità realmente misurate su questo computer e non garantisce alcun risultato predeterminato. Le informazioni su aggiornamenti di applicazioni di terze parti provengono da fonti pubbliche esterne e possono essere incomplete o non aggiornate: l'app te lo segnala quando non è in grado di verificare una versione.

6. Garanzie e responsabilità

L'app è fornita "così com'è". Nei limiti massimi consentiti dalla legge, lo sviluppatore non risponde di perdita di dati, mancato guadagno o danni indiretti derivanti dall'uso dell'app. Restano ferme le garanzie di legge riconosciute ai consumatori, che nessuna clausola di questi termini intende limitare o escludere.

7. Aggiornamenti

L'app può verificare periodicamente la disponibilità di una versione più recente di sé stessa e proportela. L'installazione richiede sempre la tua conferma.

8. Durata

La licenza resta valida finché usi l'app. Puoi terminarla in qualsiasi momento disinstallando l'applicazione.

9. Legge applicabile

Questi termini sono regolati dalla legge italiana. Per le controversie con un consumatore è competente il foro del luogo di residenza o domicilio dello stesso.

1. Subject

These terms govern the use of Spumio Clean ("the app"), a macOS application that finds and removes unnecessary files, uninstalls applications and shows information about the state of the system. By using the app you accept the following. If you don't agree, don't use it.

2. License

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Macs you own or control. You may not resell or rent the app, distribute modified copies of it, or attempt to decompile it or circumvent any licensing mechanisms, except to the extent that such restrictions are prohibited by law.

From the first launch you can try the app free of charge for 14 days with all features. When the trial ends, scans remain available, while cleaning, uninstalling, maintenance and installing updates require a license. Each license is valid for the number of Macs stated at purchase; you can deactivate it on one Mac to activate it on another. The license is checked periodically over the Internet and remains valid without a connection for up to 30 days after the last check.

Beta version: until December 31, 2026 the beta version is free and every feature is available without a license; licenses cannot be purchased during the beta. After that date the beta no longer performs cleanups and you need to install the official version, which starts the 14-day free trial described above.

3. How file removal works

The app never deletes anything on its own: it shows what it has found and waits for your explicit choice. Where possible, items are moved to the Trash so you can restore them; some operations, clearly indicated before you confirm (for example emptying the Trash), are permanent and cannot be undone. The selection and the confirmation are yours: check the list before proceeding.

4. Backups

Before performing major cleanups, it is your responsibility to have an up-to-date backup, for example with Time Machine. The app is not a substitute for a backup.

5. No promise of results

The space that can be recovered depends on your Mac and how you use it: the app always shows amounts actually measured on this computer and doesn't guarantee any predetermined result. Information about updates to third-party applications comes from external public sources and may be incomplete or out of date: the app tells you when it cannot verify a version.

6. Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for loss of data, loss of profits or indirect damages arising from the use of the app. The statutory guarantees granted to consumers remain unaffected; no clause of these terms is intended to limit or exclude them.

7. Updates

The app may periodically check whether a newer version of itself is available and offer it to you. Installation always requires your confirmation.

8. Term

The license remains valid as long as you use the app. You can end it at any time by uninstalling the application.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with a consumer, the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile.
