Spumio List · iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch

Niente posizione, contatti o foto.

Nessuna pubblicità, nessun tracciamento

Niente statistiche d'uso, identificativo pubblicitario o profilazione. Non vendiamo né cediamo dati.

Conservati in Europa

Dall'app: Impostazioni › Elimina account. Profilo e liste solo tue vengono cancellati subito.

1. Chi tratta i dati

3. Chi vede i tuoi dati

6. Per quanto tempo

  • I dati dell'account restano finché tieni l'account.

7. I tuoi diritti

1. Who handles the data

Spumio List is developed and distributed by Benedetto Giordano, an independent developer, who is the controller of the data described here. For any question or request you can write to assistenza@spumio.com.

2. What data the app uses

Account

  • Name, email address and an account identifier. If you sign in with email and password, the password is handled by Firebase Authentication: we never see or store it.
  • Sign in with Apple: Apple gives us your name (only the first time) and an email address, which may be the anonymous address created with "Hide My Email".
  • Sign in with Google: Google gives us the name and email address of your Google account.
  • The date of your last sign-in and the app's language, used to write your notifications in Italian or English.

Lists and products

  • Each list's name and emoji, who created it and who its members are (identifier and name).
  • Products: name, aisle, any note or quantity, whether they are still to buy or already bought, who added them and when.
  • Invite codes, with the list they lead to and who created them. A code expires after 7 days.

Notifications

  • For each of your devices, a notification identifier (Firebase Cloud Messaging token) and the type of device (iPhone, iPad or Mac). Apple Watch has no identifier of its own: it shows the paired iPhone's notifications.
  • Your preferences: notifications on or off, muted lists.
  • When you add or remove products, the app creates a short notice (who, which products, from which device). The server uses it to send the notification to the other members and to your other devices, then deletes it right away.

Technical data

  • As with any online service, the providers in section 4 see your device's IP address when the app connects.
  • The server writes list identifiers and the number of notifications sent to a technical log, to track down errors. The log deletes itself after 30 days.

Apple Watch

  • The Apple Watch app receives from the paired iPhone your account's access key, your identifier and your name, along with the iPhone's notification identifier. The transfer happens between your devices through Apple's WatchConnectivity service, without going through our servers. With this key the watch connects to Firebase on its own, without asking for your password.
  • On the watch, the key and a summary of your lists for the complication are stored, encrypted, in the Keychain. The app also keeps a copy of your lists and products, to show them when there's no connection, and any changes made offline until it can send them.
  • When you add or check off a product from your wrist, the notice described above carries the iPhone's notification identifier, so the iPhone you have with you doesn't notify you about a change you made yourself.

On your device

Only the app's preferences (sounds, notifications, last opened list) stay on the device, plus the lists of local mode if you use the app without an account.

What we don't collect

Location, contacts, photos, microphone, payment data, advertising identifier, browsing history. The app contains no advertising, analytics services or tracking tools.

3. Who sees your data

The people you share a list with see your name, the list's products and who added them. The notifications they receive contain your name and the products you added or removed. People who aren't members of a list can't see it: the database's access rules prevent it. Apart from them, data is processed only by the providers in section 4.

4. Providers who help us

  • Google Firebase (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC): account sign-in (Firebase Authentication), the list database (Cloud Firestore), server functions (Cloud Functions) and notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging). The database and the functions are in the europe-west1 region, in Belgium.
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple, the service that delivers notifications to Apple devices (Apple Push Notification service) and the transfer of data from the iPhone to the paired Apple Watch (WatchConnectivity).
  • Google: Sign in with Google, if you choose to use it.

Some of these services may also process data in the United States. In that case the transfer is protected by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which Google and Apple participate in, and by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Each provider also processes data under its own privacy policy.

5. Why we use it

  • To let you use the app: create your account, save and share lists, send you notifications. The legal basis is performing the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To keep the service secure and find errors, using the technical data in section 2. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We don't use data for advertising, profiling or automated decisions.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account data is kept as long as you keep your account.
  • When you delete a list, its products and invite codes are deleted too.
  • When you delete your account (Settings › Delete account), your profile, your devices and the lists that are only yours are deleted right away, and you are removed from shared lists. Those lists stay with the other members. The products you added to them remain in the list, but without your name.
  • When you sign out on a device, that device stops receiving notifications. If you sign out on the iPhone, the paired Apple Watch deletes the access key, the copy of your lists and the complication summary. Deleting the app from the watch removes everything stored there.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see your data, correct it, delete it, receive it in a machine-readable format, restrict its use or object to its processing. Many things you can do yourself in the app: change your name, mute or turn off notifications, leave a list, delete your account. For everything else write to assistenza@spumio.com: we reply within 30 days. If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in Italy that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

8. Children

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. If you are younger, you may use the app only with a parent's consent, for example by joining the family list.

9. Security

Communication between the app and the servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to lists is controlled by the database's rules: each person can read only their own profile and the lists they belong to.

10. Beta versions (TestFlight)

If you try pre-release versions with TestFlight, Apple shows us your name and the email address you were invited with; if you join through the public link, it doesn't show us your email address. Either way we can read the feedback and crash reports you choose to send, along with technical data about your device. We use them only to improve the app, under Apple's TestFlight terms.

11. This page and the support email

The spumio.com website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes technical data such as visitors' IP addresses to run it and protect it from abuse. To know how many people visit it, the website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without storing your IP address. When you open the invitation to try the app with TestFlight from the spumio.com/list page, the website counts the click anonymously: it records only the day, which link, the page language and the kind of website you came from, with no IP address, cookies or other data that identify you. This page uses no cookies and, apart from that count, loads no content from other websites: it only remembers, in your browser, the language you choose. The presentation page spumio.com/list shows a YouTube video only if you accept marketing cookies, managed with Cookiebot: the details are in that page's Cookies section. If you write to assistenza@spumio.com, your address and message are used only to reply to you. The message is delivered to the developer's iCloud mailbox (Apple's iCloud+ service) and stays there for as long as needed to handle your request.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we also let you know in the app.

This is a translation of the Italian original, which prevails in case of discrepancies.
